Osborne Industries is a 100% Employee-Owned company founded in 1973 by a group of city leaders with the vision to preserve a small rural community by providing employment opportunities in north central Kansas. This group of businessmen organized a small manufacturing company called Osborne Industries, Inc.
The first manufacturing facility was housed in the 4-H building at the county fairgrounds and involved the hand processing of one product, the Stanfield heat pad. By 1976, Osborne Industries developed a closed molding process, later known as Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), and launched the development of a new low-cost method of Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) in 1993. Our diversity of products ranges from OEM industrial components across multiple industries to computer driven automated swine management systems and other Osborne livestock equipment.
